Rudholm Group has agreed to become part of ITL Group, marking an exciting new chapter for our business and the customers we serve.
As brands and retailers navigate increasing expectations around transparency, traceability, compliance and digital product information, this partnership creates a broader platform to support their evolving needs.
By bringing together Rudholm’s customer relationships, product expertise and international network with ITL’s vertically integrated manufacturing, RFID and digital capabilities, we are strengthening our ability to help customers respond to changing market demands.
Over many years, Rudholm has built its reputation through strong local teams, long-standing customer relationships and deep expertise across packaging, labels and trims. Those qualities remain at the heart of our business and are one of the reasons ITL recognised Rudholm as the right partner.
One of the greatest benefits of this partnership is the opportunity to combine Rudholm’s market expertise with ITL’s wholly owned global production and service network. As supply chains become increasingly regulated and expectations around transparency continue to grow, greater control over production will provide customers with enhanced visibility, consistency and confidence, while maintaining the service, relationships and responsiveness they know and trust.
Together, we will also be able to offer customers expanded RFID and digital capabilities, broader international support and access to a wider range of products and services.
For our customers, it is very much business as usual. Following completion, Rudholm will continue to operate under its established brand, maintaining the customer relationships, service teams and day-to-day contacts that customers know and trust. Dennis Lau will continue as CEO, supported by the existing management team.
As part of the transaction, Rudholm Group Founder and Chairman Jonas Wollin and CEO Dennis Lau will reinvest in ITL Group and remain shareholders in the combined group. Jonas will join the ITL Board and continue to support strategic customer relationships and market development. Bamatex will add specialist Sweden-based production capabilities across heat transfers, woven labels, embroidery, reflective products and imitation leather, further strengthening the combined capabilities available to customers.
Dennis Lau, CEO of Rudholm Group, said:
“Over many years, we have built Rudholm around our customers, our people and long-term relationships. As our industry evolves, we wanted a partner able to strengthen what we offer while sharing our values and long-term commitment.
ITL brings greater manufacturing capability, deeper RFID and digital expertise, and broader global reach, while allowing Rudholm to remain close to our customers and preserve the flexibility, responsiveness and service they know and trust. I am excited about what we will achieve together.”
Jonas Wollin, Founder and Chairman of Rudholm Group, said:
“Rudholm has been a defining part of my professional life, and I couldn’t be prouder of what our people have built over the years.
Finding the right long-term partner was never just about scale, it was about finding an organisation that respects our culture, values our relationships and shares our ambition for the future.
I believe ITL is that partner, and I look forward to remaining actively involved as a member of the ITL Board while continuing to support our customers and the future development of the business.”
Neil Henderson, Group CEO of ITL Group, said:
“Rudholm has built an excellent business with a strong market reputation, talented people and capabilities that complement ITL extremely well.
Bringing the businesses together will strengthen our ability to help brands, retailers and manufacturers respond to changing market demands, while preserving what has made Rudholm successful.”
