Cradle to cradle (C2C) is the design and production of products of all types in such a way that at the end of their life, they can be truly recycled imitating nature’s cycle with everything either recycled or returned to the earth.
Cradle to Cradle Certification is a system of scoring products for their commitment to the circular economy – the reduction of waste and hazardous chemicals, more efficient uses of resources and the reuse of materials, energy efficiency and social responsibility.
A product receives an achievement level in each of the five categorgies, which certifies that the product meets the Standard requirements, and licenses the use of the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ word.
